Review the whole setup cycle
Picture the table folded in its intended storage space. Where are the arm and basket? Can you retrieve it without moving a dryer or several boxes? If it involves changing leg settings, do so only in the circumstances described by the instructions; do not assume it is intended as an occupied lift.
A fixed-height table can be a practical choice when it suits the regular user. A manually adjustable version may help when two people of different heights share the grooming work. Compare the adjustment options against that real need.
Inspect the parts that move every time
Look closely at the folding joints, braces and locks. Clear instructions should show the intended open and locked position. During your initial empty-table check, confirm that the feet sit properly on the floor and the locking parts engage as described.
Repeated setup also creates opportunities to misplace removable components. A dedicated storage bag or labelled container may be useful, but its dimensions and load suitability still need checking. Avoid leaving loose clamps where they can scratch the top or where you cannot find them before the next session.

For folding tables, read comments about opening the legs, accessing the locks and storing the detached arm. Those observations are more relevant to home convenience than an unexplained claim that the table is professional quality. Match the reviewed model and size to your selection.
